'Hausla-2018' Inaugurated in New Delhi

'Hausla-2018' Inaugurated in New Delhi The national festival  for children of child care institutions "Hausla-2018" of the Ministry of Women and Child Development was inaugrated on November 26,2018 in New Delhi. The Inter-Child Care Institute festival is meant for CCls  from 18 states in the various events like painting competition, athletics meet, football, chess competition and speech writing as part of the festival. The event was initiated to inspire children of Child Care Institutions so that they can reach the National Stage for expressing their capabilities. The theme for the event marked as "Child Safety".

Centre Approved Renaming of 25 Places in past One Year The centre on November 11,2018 has given consent to the renaming of at least 25 towns and villages across India in the past one year and among the pending proposals is one for the renaming of the state of the west Bengal . Some of the major approved proposals are 1. Rajamundry as Raja Mahendravaram in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. 2. Outer Wheeler as APJ Abdul Kalam Island, situated in Bhadrak district of Odisha. 3. Arikkod asAreekode in Malappura district of Kerala. 4. Pindari as Pandu-Pindara in Jind district of Haryana. 5. Samphur as Sanphure in Kiphre district of Nagaland . 6. Landgewadi to Narsinhagaon in Sangali district of Maharastra. 7. Garhi Sampla as Ch. Sir Chhotu Ram Nagar in Rohtak district of Haryana. 8. President Laid Foundation Of Kevadia Railway Station The President of India , Ram Nath Kovind , laid the foundation stone of the Kevadia Railway Station in district Narmada ,Gujarat on December 15, 2018. The coming up of this station would speed up the development of the region. It would lead to an increased flow of tourists from across the country and beyond and make their travel to the 'Statue of Unity ' faster as well as more convenient. Kevadia Railway Station building will be the first green building of this railway line. It will have effective methods of water management  with modern facilities. It would emerge as a fine example of balancing the goals of development and environmental protection.
